ReMIX Aargauer Kunsthaus

Shortfilm – Cut Out | 2D-digital animation

For the Aargau Art Museum, we were given carte blanche, along with other animation artists from Switzerland. The task was to animate works from the museum’s collection.
The tour with the augmented reality app guides visitors to the artworks, which come to life on the screen. The themes revolve around the tension between humanity and nature: they depict the landscape as both untouched and simultaneously threatened. This interdisciplinary project connects the past with the present moment.
